We have been creating personalised signs for homes since 1995. From our workshop on the Isle of Wight, we combine traditional craftsmanship with a simple, personal ordering service.
Making Signs Since 1995
House Sign Shop started with a simple idea: create well-made signs that feel right for the homes they belong to. We began trading in 1995 and started selling online in April 2000.
Since then, we have supplied signs to homes across the UK and overseas, while keeping the same focus on careful design, good materials and personal service.
We started creating personalised signs for homes.
Our signs became available to order online from April 2000.
We continue working from our Isle of Wight workshop.

Our workshop is based in Sandown, where our signs are prepared, personalised, finished and checked before dispatch.
We work with a range of materials including natural slate, white Corian, reflective plaques, rustic designs and hand-painted signs.
Each material has its own character, so customers can choose something that suits the age, style and setting of their home.
A Simple Personal Ordering Process
Ordering a personalised sign should be straightforward. Once you have chosen the style you like, we help you get the wording and layout right before production begins.
Select the material, shape and size that suits your home.
Enter your house name, number, address and preferred options.
We send a free design proof so you can review the layout.
Once approved, your design goes into production.
