Slate House Name Sign for Shorter Names

This slim slate sign is a good fit for shorter house names where you want something neat and understated beside a front door, gate or entrance. It’s made from solid Brazilian slate, with the name cut deeply into the surface for a traditional engraved finish.

Is This the Right Size?

At 250mm × 60mm, this size works best for shorter house names of around 10 characters on one line. If your name is a little longer, the 300mm × 75mm slate sign gives you more room while keeping the same slim shape.

    production. We only start making your sign once you're completely happy.

  • Short names (up to 10 characters) suit 300mm. Longer names or two lines need 400–450mm. Not sure? Call us on 01983 400777.

  • All our signs carry a 3 to 7 year guarantee depending on material.
