Slate House Sign for Names, Addresses & Directions

This larger slate sign is designed for house names, numbers, addresses or directional information over up to four lines. It is cut from genuine 10mm Brazilian slate and deeply V-carved, making it suitable for larger homes, farms, businesses and entrances where more information needs to be displayed.

Is This the Right Size?

At 450mm × 300mm, this is one of our largest slate house signs and gives longer wording or four-line layouts enough space to remain clear. It suits entrance walls, gate posts and pillars. If you need less height, the 450mm × 200mm slate sign is the smaller alternative.

Choose from 21+ fonts and finish the engraving in white, silver or gold. A directional arrow can also be added at no extra cost.

We’ll email you a free design proof before engraving begins so you can check the wording, font, colour and layout and request any changes. Once approved, your sign will be made in our Isle of Wight workshop and covered by our 3-year slate guarantee.

    production. We only start making your sign once you're completely happy.

  • Short names (up to 10 characters) suit 300mm. Longer names or two lines need 400–450mm. Not sure? Call us on 01983 400777.

  • Each sign comes complete with wall plugs and all fixings included — everything you need for a secure installation is in the box.

  • All our signs carry a 3 to 7 year guarantee depending on material.
    Every sign is built for decades of outdoor use and won't rust, corrode,
    or become brittle like cheaper alternatives.

  • We email your design proof within 1 working day. Once you approve
    it, your sign is handmade and dispatched — free standard UK delivery is
