Natural Brazilian slate for properties requiring gate mounting. Measuring 450mm x 85mm x 10mm thick with v-carve engraved text. Perfect for five bar gates, wooden gates, and gate posts where you have 450-500mm mounting width.

Product Specifications

Material: Natural Brazilian slate, 10mm thickness. Max Engraving depth: 7mm. Character height: Approximately 45mm (varies by font). Paint options: White, gold, or silver infill. Font choice: 19 options available. Visible from 12-15 metres distance. Finish: Honed (smooth) surface. Colour: Dark grey.

Installation Details

Fixing points: Two holes, horizontally positioned. Hole diameter: 6mm. Hole position: 10mm from left and right. Supplied fixings: Two stainless steel screws (5mm x 40mm), two wall plugs (suitable for timber gates). Minimum gate thickness required: 40mm. Recommended for: Wooden five bar gates, solid timber gates, gate posts 450mm+ width. Not suitable for: Thin metal gates, hollow gates. Tools needed: 6mm wood drill bit, screwdriver, spirit level, pencil.
