Four numbers need a little more room to look right. This 240mm × 100mm slate sign gives a four-digit house number plenty of space, creating a clear, balanced design that's easy to read without the numbers feeling squeezed together.

Choose from 21+ fonts and have your house number finished in white, silver or gold. Your chosen design is deeply V-engraved into solid 10mm Brazilian slate for a crisp, lasting finish. You can also add a directional arrow at no extra cost and choose your preferred fixing-hole position, or order your sign without fixing holes.
Free Design Proof
Before we engrave your sign, we'll send you a free design proof so you can see exactly how your four-digit number will look. If you'd like to change the font, spacing or anything else, that's absolutely fine. We won't make your sign until you're completely happy with the design.
Choosing the Right Size
This 240mm × 100mm sign is designed to give four-digit house numbers the extra width they need. If your number has three digits, our 160mm × 100mm slate house number sign is the better fit. If you're mounting your sign on a gatepost or pillar, it's worth checking the available width before ordering.
Easy Installation
Your sign is quick and easy to fit, with all the necessary fixings included. Simply choose the fixing-hole position that works best for you, or have your sign made without fixing holes if you'd prefer to fix it directly to the surface yourself. Either way, your sign will arrive ready for you to install.

Yes — every order includes a free design proof emailed before
production. We only start making your sign once you're completely happy. -
Short names (up to 10 characters) suit 300mm. Longer names or two lines need 400–450mm. Not sure? Call us on 01983 400777.
