Slate Sign for Two-Line Designs

This is a good all-round choice if you want a house name and number together, or a design that works better over two lines. There’s enough height to give the wording some space without moving up to one of the larger plaques, and each sign is cut from solid Brazilian slate and deeply V-carved for a proper engraved finish.

Is This the Right Size?

At 300mm × 150mm, this size works well for a house name and number, a short address or a comfortable two-line layout. If you need less height, the 300mm × 100mm slate sign is a slimmer option. For longer wording or more room across the design, the 400mm × 150mm slate sign gives you the same height with extra width.

Personalise Your Sign

Choose from 21+ fonts and finish your engraved wording in white, silver or gold. You can also choose the fixing-hole position that suits where the sign will be fitted, or order it without fixing holes if you prefer.

We’ll email you a free design proof before we start engraving, so you can check the wording, font, colour and layout first. Once you’re happy with it, we’ll make your sign in our Isle of Wight workshop and cover it with our 3-year slate guarantee.

    production. We only start making your sign once you're completely happy.

  • Short names (up to 10 characters) suit 300mm. Longer names or two lines need 400–450mm. Not sure? Call us on 01983 400777.

  • Each sign comes complete with wall plugs and all fixings included — everything you need for a secure installation is in the box.

  • All our signs carry a 3 to 7 year guarantee depending on material.
    Every sign is built for decades of outdoor use and won't rust, corrode,
